    EPOFIX T is a solvent-free, two-component epoxy adhesive designed for high-strength bonding and structural anchoring. Once mixed, it offers a smooth, easy-to-apply consistency suitable for both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Engineered for securing steel rebar and other building materials under load-bearing conditions, it delivers exceptional adhesion—exceeding the cohesive strength of concrete.     How to Apply Epofix T

    Epofix T is a solvent-free two-component epoxy that is used either as a structural adhesive or as an anchoring paste for rebar.

    1. Prepare the surface. All surfaces must be sound, dry and perfectly clean, with loose particles, varnishes and grease removed by sand blasting or brushing. Concrete must be cured for at least 21 days, and a coat of Armoprime EP100 is advisable on porous supports.
    2. Prepare other substrates. Degrease metals and abrade or acid etch them. Wipe PVC with a cloth soaked in trichloroethylene; timber must be dry, lightly sanded and cleaned; degrease glass, ceramic and plastic and abrade with emery paper or sand blasting.
    3. Mix. Add Part B to the Part A container and mix with a low-speed mixer (200-300 rpm) until homogeneous and free from lumps. Avoid partial mixing, as proportioning errors may cause incomplete curing.
    4. Apply as an adhesive. Apply a thin even film to both surfaces with a smooth spatula or trowel, join the elements and hold them tight until Epofix T has fully hardened. Avoid excess pressure and remove excess adhesive with a sharp knife.
    5. Apply as an anchoring paste. For vertical openings, coat the rebar with enough mix, insert it, let the material ooze and level with a spatula if needed. For horizontal holes, fill 1/3 of the hole with Epofix T, insert the rebar and top up to the edge if required.
    6. Clean tools. Clean all tools with Armosolvent before the material hardens. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
