    How to Apply Epofix G

    Epofix G is a pure epoxy anchoring grout dispensed from a self-mixing 400 ml cartridge into a drilled and cleaned hole.

    1. Drill the hole. Drill anchor bolt holes with air or rotary percussion drilling equipment using a hammer drill bit of the correct diameter and working length. If diamond core or non-percussive drills are used, roughen the sides of the hole thoroughly.
    2. Clean the hole. Remove all drilling debris and dust with a stiff nylon bottle brush and clean compressed air or a hole cleaning pump. For deeper holes use a blow out pump or compressed air nozzle (> 6 bar).
    3. Prepare the cartridge. Remove the screw cap, attach the mixer nozzle and place the cartridge in the applicator. Dispense and discard the first part of the cartridge until an even color is achieved.
    4. Inject the grout. Insert the mixer nozzle to the far end of the hole and half fill the hole (depending on the application), withdrawing the nozzle as the hole fills. Extension tubing can be used for deep holes.
    5. Insert the fixing. Immediately insert the fixing slowly with a slight twisting motion, and remove excess resin from the mouth of the hole before it sets.
    6. Cure and load. Leave the fixing undisturbed until the loading time has elapsed (e.g. 16 hours minimum curing time at 20°C), then attach the fixture and tighten the nut.
    7. Clean tools. Clean all tools with Armosolvent before the material hardens. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
