    Polyester Resin Fast Curing Anchoring Grout

    ANCHORFIX is a two-part, fast-curing polyester resin anchoring grout formulated for high-strength, corrosion-resistant fixings. Comprising pre-packed polyester resin and blended aggregates with a chemical catalyst, it is designed for quick installation of reinforcing dowels, starter bars, handrails, safety fences, railway tracks, foundation bolts, and ground anchors into concrete, concrete blocks, aerated autoclaved blocks, and stone. Its rapid strength development allows for early loading, while providing excellent resistance to dynamic vibrations, chemical exposure, and corrosion. ANCHORFIX is economical, easy to apply, and suitable for both dry and wet conditions, including underwater installations.

    How to Apply Anchorfix

    Anchorfix is a two-part polyester resin anchoring grout poured or pumped into clean drilled holes before the bar or bolt is inserted.

    1. Drill the hole. Drill with a heavy duty drill machine to the diameter and depth required by the design, using the TDS hole depth and diameter tables as guidance. Bar reinforcement should be clean and free from rust.
    2. Clean the hole. Clean the hole free of dust and contaminants by blowing air with a manual or electrical blower fitted with a long hose. Always insert the hose to the far end of the drill hole.
    3. Mix. Anchorfix is supplied pre-weighed as resin and catalyst (with filler). Mix both components completely with a mechanical stirrer until a uniform consistency is obtained, and do not mix more than can be applied within the pot life.
    4. Fill the hole. Pour or pump the mixed grout steadily into the prepared hole within the gelling time, injecting it to the bottom of the hole to avoid air entrapment.
    5. Insert the bar. Insert the bar or bolt to the required depth with a twisting motion to ensure a complete bond. Leave the assembly undisturbed until the grout hardens.
    6. Clean tools. Clean tools and equipment with Armosolvent before the material hardens. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

    Pot life is 30 minutes at 25°C. Anchorfix hardens in 3 hours at 25°C and is completely hardened in 7 days.

    What compressive strength does Anchorfix reach?

    Compressive strength (ASTM C579) is 60 N/mm² at 24 hours and 80 N/mm² at 7 days. Flexural strength at 7 days is >25 N/mm² and tensile strength at 7 days is 12 N/mm².
