    TILEGRIP FLEX is a premium cement-based, polymer-modified waterproof tile adhesive classified as C2TE, designed to deliver exceptional bond strength, flexibility, and long-term durability. Formulated with advanced bonding agents, selected aggregates, performance polymers, and specialty additives, it creates a smooth, highly workable, and thixotropic mortar when mixed with water, ensuring easy application and excellent coverage.

    Once cured, TILEGRIP FLEX provides outstanding adhesion and flexibility, making it ideal for both interior and exterior tiling applications. It is suitable for a wide range of substrates, including concrete, cement blockwork, cement boards, gypsum boards, and polystyrene insulation boards, offering reliable performance even in demanding environments.

    How to Apply Tilegrip Flex

    Tilegrip Flex is a C2TE cementitious powder adhesive mixed with water and applied with a notched trowel to sound, cured substrates.

    1. Prepare the surface. All surfaces should be sound, clean, dry and free from loose material, efflorescence, laitance, curing compounds, dirt, oil and grease. Concrete and block substrates must be fully cured; wet the surface to a saturated surface dry condition before application.
    2. Mix. Add the 20 kg bag to 4.6-5.0 liters of clean water and mix with a paddle on a slow-speed drill (200-300 rpm) to a uniform, lump-free consistency. Rest about 5 minutes and remix before use.
    3. Spread the adhesive. Spread with a 6 mm to 12 mm notched trowel depending on tile size, evenly and in sufficient quantity, then sweep a second pass with the notched edge. Only spread as much as can be tiled within the open time; rework any skinned adhesive with the trowel and never wet it.
    4. Fix the tiles. Press and twist each tile into the wet adhesive to get full contact. Back-butter large tiles. For tile-over-tile, check the old tiles are clean and well bonded and use a suitable tile-on-tile primer.
    5. Clean off excess. Remove excess adhesive with a damp cloth before it dries.
    6. Grout and protect. Grout joints after 12 hours on walls and 24 hours on floors. Keep tiles away from running water or rain for at least 24 hours and direct sunlight for at least 5 days; swimming pools and basins can be filled after 14 days.
    7. Clean tools. Clean tools with water before the product hardens. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
