    Surface Treatment

Soilgrip soil stabilizer and dust control emulsion sprayed on sand by MATEX

    Soilgrip

Soil Stabilizer and Dust Control Environmentally Friendly Emulsion

SOILGRIP is an eco-friendly co-polymer emulsion designed for effective soil stabilization and dust control in construction zones, open land, and erosion-prone areas. It forms a tough, cross-linked crust on soil surfaces, significantly reducing dust and resisting wind or water erosion. Safe for vegetation, animals, and groundwater. SOILGRIP is compatible with organic mulches and water-dispersible pigments, supporting sustainable landscaping and reclamation projects. The formulation is non-toxic, UV-resistant, and durable under varying weather conditions. SOILGRIP offers a cost-effective, long-lasting solution for environmental dust suppression and soil surface treatment without compromising ecological safety.

    Technical data:
    • Color/Appearance : Milky white liquid (clear once dried)
    • Toxicity : Non-toxic
    • Coverage : Dust control: 12-15 m²/lit , Sand control: 2.5-3.5 m²/lit, Landscaping: 7-10 m²/lit
    • Packaging : 200 liter drum

    How to Apply Soilgrip

Soilgrip is diluted with water and spray applied to graded soil, typically in two to three coats with compaction.

    1. Prepare the ground. Level and grade the land as specified and remove debris or anything that might obstruct spray application. Use clean, suitable soil with low chloride and sulphate contents; complete construction in the area first to avoid later vehicle traffic disturbing the stabilized ground.
    2. Check weather. Do not apply onto surfaces likely to suffer sudden rain until curing takes place.
    3. Dilute and mix. Add Soilgrip to water; dilution varies with soil moisture, application type and desired result. If mulch or other ingredients are added, use spray equipment with a strongly agitated tank, a non-clogging pump, and spray hoses and nozzles.
    4. Spray apply. Apply from a water truck, hydro-seed truck, spray rig or by gravity feed from a tank or drum onto hills, cut banks, sand dunes or other surfaces where wind and water erosion or dust are problems.
    5. Build up coats. Apply two to three coats with compaction for high erosion control. Prepare the first coat at a 1:6 dilution (depending on surface absorbency) before applying the second coat at the recommended rate.
    6. Clean tools. Clean the used tools with water before the product dries.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What is the coverage of Soilgrip?

Diluted 1:1 with water, approximate coverage is 12-15 m²/L for dust control, 2.5-3.5 m²/L for sand control and 7-10 m²/L for landscaping. Rates vary with soil type and should be adjusted for each site.

How many coats of Soilgrip are needed?

Two to three coats with compaction are recommended to achieve high soil erosion control.

    Where can Soilgrip be used?

Soilgrip is used for dust control in open areas such as those next to airports and stadiums, erosion control in high-wind areas, hydro-seeding, landscaping and temporary roads, and stabilizing sand dunes next to projects.

How is Soilgrip packaged and stored?

Soilgrip is supplied in 200 liter drums. Store in the original packing between 10°C and 30°C away from direct sunlight; shelf life is 12 months from production in unopened packing.
