    Resin Injection

Conject PUF 50 semi-flexible water reactive polyurethane injection foaming resin by MATEX

    Conject Puf 50

    Semi-Flexible Polyurethane Injection Foaming Resin

CONJECT PUF 50 is a two-component, low-viscosity polyurethane injection resin that reacts with water to form a semi-flexible, hydrophobic foam, effectively sealing wet cracks and active water leaks. It expands rapidly on contact with moisture, making it ideal for high-flow or high-pressure leak scenarios in concrete, stone, and masonry. CONJECT PUF 50 penetrates deeply into fine cracks and voids and adheres firmly to various substrates. It resists shrinkage after curing and provides durable chemical resistance to groundwater, seawater, and diluted acids and alkalis. This makes it a reliable waterproofing solution in demanding underground or water-exposed environments.

How to Apply Conject Puf 50

Conject PUF 50 is a two-component, water-reactive polyurethane resin injected with a single component pump to stop active leaks in cracks and joints.

    1. Mix. Mix the resin (Part A) and the catalyst (Part B) thoroughly for two minutes at 1:1 by volume. Once opened, use the full set, as the product is sensitive to humidity.
    2. Inject. Inject the mixture into the crack with a single component pump (manual, electric or pneumatic). On contact with water it reacts and expands into a foam that blocks water penetration.
    3. Re-inject to close. Allow the material to foam, then inject again after the joint or crack has stopped leaking to ensure closure. The resin can be applied in two phases: as a foam to close the wet leak, then as a resin to block the crack or joint.
    4. Clean tools. Clean tools with Armosolvent whenever work stops for more than 15 minutes, and immediately after completing the job before the product dries.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Conject PUF 50 expand?

Free expansion is up to 20 times volume. At 25°C expansion starts approximately 16 seconds after contact with water and ends after approximately 70 seconds.

What is the mixing ratio and pot life of Conject PUF 50?

Part A and Part B are mixed 1:1 by volume for two minutes. Pot life is approximately 90 minutes at 25°C; remove any skin from the surface and do not mix it in.

What happens if Conject PUF 50 does not contact water?

When reacted with water it forms a semi-flexible foam that closes cracks or joints; if not reacted with water it forms a rigid resin.

What is Conject PUF 50 used for?

It is mainly used as a water stop to seal leakages or stop active water leaks with flow and/or high hydrostatic pressure in wet cracks or joints in concrete, stone and masonry.

How is Conject PUF 50 packaged and stored?

It is supplied in a dual pack of equal volume Part A and Part B equivalent to 24 liters. Store in a dry, covered shed between +10°C and +30°C; shelf life is 6 months if stored properly.
