    CEMCURE WB is a water-based, sodium silicate, resin-modified curing compound that controls moisture loss in freshly cast concrete. Its non-film-forming formula retains mix water to ensure proper cement hydration and strength development without altering the natural concrete appearance. A practical and cost-effective alternative to traditional methods like water curing or polythene sheeting, CEMCURE WB is easy to apply and environmentally friendly. It also acts as a light-duty dust proofer and enhances resistance to oil and grease. Suitable for a variety of indoor and outdoor applications, it delivers reliable results with minimal surface disruption.

    How to Apply Cemcure Wb

    Cemcure WB is a ready-to-use water-based curing compound applied to fresh concrete as soon as surface water has evaporated.

    1. Stir. Stir Cemcure WB well before each application. It is ready to use; do not dilute with water. Do not apply below 5°C.
    2. Time the application. Apply after the cement has set, immediately after the surface water has evaporated, when there is no bleed water and no surface sheen. Never apply on concrete that has started to dry out. On vertical elements, apply immediately after formwork removal.
    3. Apply. Apply uniformly by paint roller, soft bristled broom or spraying machine at 1 liter per 10 m² of concrete surface. Use clean sprayers not previously used for silicones or release agents, and do not apply before or during power floating. Do not allow puddling. In hot or windy weather, prevent the surface from drying.
    4. Let it dry. Allow the compound to dry properly and do not apply any water to the coated surface.
    5. Before subsequent finishes. Cement plaster, key coat, bituminous or acrylic coatings, or tiles with latex modified adhesive can be applied after removing residual Cemcure WB, with a site adhesion trial. If over-applied, a film forms and must be removed.
    6. Clean tools. Clean tools with water before the product dries.
