CARBOSHIELD is a high-performance, elastomeric, water-based exterior anti-carbonation coating designed to protect reinforced concrete structures from environmental damage. Formulated with a special acrylic polymer, it provides a robust barrier against carbon dioxide, chloride ions, oxygen, and water ingress while accommodating substrate cracking up to 2mm and cyclic movement up to 0.3mm. CARBOSHIELD is UV resistant, highly durable, and offers excellent dirt-shedding properties. It allows moisture vapor transmission from within the structure, reducing the risk of trapped moisture. Environmentally friendly and low in VOCs, CARBOSHIELD extends the service life of structures by resisting acid rain, sulphates, and atmospheric gases.
