    ARMOLEVEL is a single-component, free-flowing, cement-based self-leveling underlayment designed to create a smooth surface for a wide range of floor coverings. Formulated with selected cements, graded aggregates, and special additives, ARMOLEVEL comes in three versions — ARMOLEVEL L10 (3–10 mm), ARMOLEVEL L25 (5–25 mm) and ARMOLEVEL L40 (10–40 mm) — and can be used to prepare substrates for tiles, parquet, carpets, vinyl sheeting, rubber flooring, and more. It offers excellent bonding to concrete floors, minimal shrinkage, and outstanding crack resistance, making it ideal for installations in hotels, schools, and commercial buildings. Fast-curing, surfaces are ready for covering within 12 to 48 hours.

    How to Apply Armolevel

    Armolevel is primed, mixed with water and poured onto the prepared concrete floor, then spiked-rolled to release trapped air.

    1. Prepare the substrate. Concrete should have been placed for at least 28 days and be sound, clean, dry and free from loose material, efflorescence, laitance, curing compounds, dirt, oil and grease. Remove contamination or excessive laitance by grinding, captive blasting or sand blasting, and carry out any necessary repairs with a MATEX concrete repair product.
    2. Prime. Apply a coat of Armoprime AC evenly with a lamb skin roller without letting the primer form puddles. A second coat may be necessary on porous, very absorbent substrates after the first has dried.
    3. Mix. Add the powder to the water: around 5.50–5.75 liters of water per 25 kg bag for L10 and L25, or 5.0–5.25 liters for L40. Mix with a low-speed drill mixer (200–300 rpm) and paddle for a minimum of 3 minutes, using full bags only; the mix temperature should not exceed 25°C and no extra water should be added later.
    4. Pour and spread. While Armoprime AC is dry (approx. 1 to 4 hours depending on climatic conditions), pour Armolevel onto the primed floor, starting in one corner with a continuous stream along one edge and back-lapping as soon as possible. Spread with a trowel and allow the material to self-level.
    5. De-aerate. Immediately after placing, roll the surface with a spiked roller to help release any trapped air. Notched squeegees, trowels and smoothers can be used to assist placement.
    6. Protect and cover. In normal conditions Armolevel does not require curing, but protect it from direct sunlight, strong drying wind and air currents. Floor coverings such as ceramic or carpet can be laid after nearly 48 hours, depending on thickness, substrate humidity and weather.
    7. Clean tools. Clean tools and equipment with water before the material hardens; hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
